Berkeley Community Fund High Hopes Scholarship
Cal Poly, Pomona
Ernesto is graduating from Berkeley High School’s Academic Choice program. He participated in the Berkeley Scholars to Cal program and worked as a teacher’s aide and on construction jobs with his dad. He also played soccer for the BHS Yellowjackets and a competitive club team. Ernesto is especially honored to have trained with his club team at West Ham United Academy in England. He is thinking of majoring in international business and marketing and minoring in kinesiology. He will be a first generation college student.
