Angel graduated from the Academy of Medicine and Public Service at Berkeley High School. She was active in the Black Student Union and participated in the Bridge program, in addition to working at a pharmacy over 22 hours each week. Angel confirmed her desire to be a social worker during an internship with the Vera Casey Center in Berkeley. Her sights are set on a degree in social work, followed by a career in child protective services.
