Van is a hard working young woman who has managed to maintain a 4.0 grade point average even though English is not her first language. She is involved in the Homeless Support Club, Y-Scholars and Build On where she has helped in soup kitchens and provided gifts for children from impoverished families. She plans on studying Biology and hopes to become a veterinarian.
