Miguel will be graduating from AMPS and is the first person in his family to go to college. He has been in the Y-Scholars Program since freshman year and is an advocate for immigrant rights on campus, bringing awareness to such issues. He participated in an internship at Highland Hospital and Oakland Children’s Hospital, working alongside doctors in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit and Emergency department. Miguel has a passion for photography and hopes to enter a career in which he can be an advocate for minorities.
