Refujio earned a 3.9 GPA in the most challenging curriculum (International Baccalaureate) at Berkeley High School and tutors students in the RISE program. She is Vice-President of the Chicano-Latino student club. She is interested in studying global affairs, economics, and american studies with a focus on third world countries. She hopes to work on developing solutions which will support a healthy economy in impoverished communities globally. Refujio will be the first person in her family to attend college.
