Alejandra participated in the RISE program, the CORO Leadership Program and was active in student leadership at Berkeley High School. She has held an internship with the Berkeley City Council and is the recipient of the Mayor’s Student Leadership Award. Alejandra will be the first person in her family to attend college. She is interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement so she can help keep her community safe.
