Nuha’s family emigrated from Yemen, looking for a better future in America. She participated in the Bridge program at Berkeley High School and worked as an intern for the Tobacco Use Prevention Education Program (TUPE). Nuha overcame a personal health crisis during her sophomore year and will be the first person in her family to attend college. Nuha is interested in biology and public health.
