Katherine will be the first person in her family to attend college. She was an active member of the Bridge program at Berkeley High School and volunteered as a reading buddy at Washington Elementary.
Katherine traveled to Nicaragua as part of the Global Glimpse program. She is interested in studying animal biology and zoology to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.
